Description: On November 4, 2020, plaintiff was peacefully and lawfully protesting in support of the Black Lives Matter movement when he was struck by P.O.s O'Brien, Gregory J. McNamara, Lt. John J. Egan and thrown to the ground. Plaintiff was punched repeatedly in the face by the officers. Other police officers were standing nearby but did nothing to help plaintiff. Description: On March 20, 2011, Plaintiffs Roy Bissessar and Amrika Shepard were walking when defendant officers stopped them and ticketed Bissessar. Plaintiff questioned why he was being ticketed, at which point the officer placed handcuffs on him, put Plaintiff Bissessar in a headlock and repeatedly struck his face. After falling to the ground, Plaintiff Bissessar was kicked several times before being put in a car. Despite being pregnant, Plaintiff Shephard tried to intervene but was pushed to the ground and handcuffed.
