Description: On February 24, 2021, plaintiff Joshua Garcia - a freelance photographer and videographer - was participating in a peaceful protest in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Plaintiff was filming the protesters as they marched towards the waterfront when a mass of police officers arrived on the scene in riot gear and began to charge toward and arrest the protesters. Plaintiff crossed the street to film the arrests and was approached by an unidentified police officer, who asked for his press pass.
