Complaint
Description: On October 27, 2020, Plaintiffs Olivia Wanebo and John Acosta attended a protest against police brutality in Kings County. Plaintiff Acosta was filming the officers stationed at the protest and witnessed an unnamed officer use their bicycle as a weapon against another protestor. Upon using his phone to record the incident, Defendant Captain Ramos shoved Mr. Acosta and stated that he was placing Mr. Acosta under arrest.
