Description: Defendant Officers stopped Plaintiff in a public housing lobby, falsely arrested him and assaulted him, causing him to suffer a seizure on his was to the 25th precinct. He went into a coma at the hospital for 5 days. Charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, Resisting Arrest, Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence, Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Dismissed for failure to prosecute. An a second occasion, Plaintiff was again stopped by officers in the public housing lobby, strip searched at the 23rd precinct, and charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, later dismissed.

Description: On January 15, 2011, at approximately 5:00 p.m., plaintiff was lawfully present in the lobby of 405 East 105th Street, New York, New York. Plaintiff entered said building as an invited guest of Jose Sanchez, who resides at 405 East 105th Street, in apartment 9G. As plaintiff entered the building, the defendant NYPD officers unlawfully stopped, detained, and searched plaintiff. Plaintiff informed the officers that he was on his way to the ninth floor and was an invited guest of Jose Sanchez. Notwithstanding the fact that plaintiff was lawfully in the building, the officers handcuffed plaintiff, and thereafter transported plaintiff to an NYPD precinct, where he was imprisoned.

Description: During the evening of July 5, 2008, plaintiff was riding his bicycle in the Harlem section of Manhattan heading toward his residence, a hostel located on 110th Street between 7th Avenue and Lennox Avenue.
