Description: On April 10, 2014, plaintiffs were on a public sidewalk when defendants proceeded to stop, detain, seize, and search plaintiffs. None of the plaintiffs were found to be in possession of any contraband. Defendants then arrested plaintiffs. Defendants then fabricated evidence to justify plaintiffs' arrest. The DA's Office concluded that it lacked sufficient evidence to proceed against the plaintiffs and the plaintiffs were subsequently released from custody.
