Description: Plaintiffs were leaving a club when a fight broke out which they weren't involved in. Defendant Officers arrived and began pepper spraying everyone. When one Plaintiff protested, he was put in a chokehold , handcuffed, and assaulted. Officers then assaulted and arrested Plaintiff Sr.. Both Plaintiffs were charged with Assault in the Second Degree, OGA, and Resisting Arrest, which were later dismissed.

Description: Plaintiff was attending a block party and was on crutches after he underwent surgery on his Achilles tendon. Defendant Officers began dispersing the crowd and Plaintiff was crutching away when officer Powell pushed somebody into him, then slapped him. All Officers began to assault him with their fists and batons , causing severe damage to his injury, and dragged him for a block. Plaintiff was taken to the hospital and charged with Assault in the Second Degree.

Description: On September 27th, 2013, Plaintiff was lawfully sitting outside his apartment building when NYPD Police Officer Gerard Staples startled him by asking for identification. He asked why, and he replied that he wanted to see it because he wanted to see it. As Plaintiff stood up to give the officer his identification, the officer grabbed him by the front pocket, threw him down the stairs and onto the concrete ground. The officer began kicking him, and NYPD Police Officer Jerry Rivera joined him in doing so. Officers Carina Herrera and others then joined in the kicking and punching.
