Description: On April 21, 2012, Plaintiff Anderson was walking on 119th Road and Farmers Boulevard in Queens when a plainclothes police officer, Defendant Jason Zummo pointed a gun at him and falsely accused him of trying to rob two people, telling him to freeze. In fear, Plaintiff ran into a nearby yard. Defendant Zummo tackled plaintiff, handcuffed him, and proceeded to punch him and pistol-whipped him in the face. All without cause or justification. Description: On September 25, 2007, Plaintiff Michael McLennon was assaulted inside his apartment by two former tenants while Plaintiff Richard Campbell rushed inside. Plaintiff McLennon was able to shoot on of the attackers, who fled and dropped a bloody knife outside. After police arrived, they arrested the Plaintiffs for attempted murder and other crimes, and conducted an illegal search of the home.
