Description: On April 21, 2012, Plaintiff Anderson was walking on 119th Road and Farmers Boulevard in Queens when a plainclothes police officer, Defendant Jason Zummo pointed a gun at him and falsely accused him of trying to rob two people, telling him to freeze. In fear, Plaintiff ran into a nearby yard. Defendant Zummo tackled plaintiff, handcuffed him, and proceeded to punch him and pistol-whipped him in the face. All without cause or justification. Then plaintiff was punched on the side of his body by Defendant Officer Mattthew Vorraro. A third John Doe officer pushed Plaintiff into a tree before they took him to the precinct.
