Description: On February 12, 2018, at around 7:00pm, Mr. James Crawford, who was working as a roadside assistant for Allstate, responded to a motorist's call for help at the intersection of Bleeker Street and LaGuardia Place. The motorist's car batter had died. Mr. Crawford parked across the street from the motorist. As Mr. Crawford was to the motorist's car with equipment to jump start their car, NYPD Officers jumped out of an unmarked car and began yelling at Mr. Crawford. When the Officers reached Mr. Crawford, the grabbed his arms and began kicking at his legs. They handcuffed Mr. Crawford and pushed him against his own car, while continuing to kick at his legs.
