Description: On or about October 11, 2015, Plaintiff was walking at or near the Edenwald Houses when NYPD Officers David Sammarco and Alfredo Valentin unlawfully searched and seized Plaintiff and Plaintiff's car. The officers falsely arrested, forcibly handcuffed, assaulted and battered Plaintiff, without a valid warrant or probable cause. Plaintiff was held in custody for an unknown, but unreasonable, amount of time. As a result, Plaintiff sustained emotional distress, damage to reputation and credit, mental anguish, physical injury and more.
