Description: On August 31, 2016, Plaintiffs Brown and Bouchet were falsely accused of robbing and beating a taxi cab driver. Plaintiffs were ordered held in jail until they could post bail. Plaintiff Brown was incarcerated 6 weeks and Bouchet 2 weeks until they could raise money for bail. All charges were later dismissed against plaintiffs. NYPD were looking for two african american men, and NYPD used racial profiling to arrest these two plaintiffs.
