Description: On November 8, 2023, NYPD was conducting a roadblock in the vicinity of 181st Street and Amsterdam Avenue. At the roadblock, PO Howard Roth and PO Edyta Pawlicki ordered Plaintiff to stop her car and produce driver's license and registration. As Plaintiff reached into the glove compartment, she took out pepper spray to look for the documents. Description: On September 24, 2012, while plaintiff was standing in front of a building, defendants approached plaintiff, punched her in the face, struck her in the back and body, slammed her head into the ground, and handcuffed her. Defendants then transported plaintiff to the 44th precinct. At the precinct, plaintiff asked defendant Roth why she had been arrested. In response, defendant Roth maliciously tightened plaintiff's handcuffs. Plaintiff was subsequently transported to a hospital and released. Defendants fabricated charges against plaintiff to justify her arrest. All charges brought against her were ultimately dismissed.

PO “John” O’Connor, “Joe” Roth, and Jim “Delafio” unlawfully detained Plaintiff. The officers proceeded to unlawfully search Plaintiff, and then placed Plaintiff in a small room to attempt to force him to sign a confession for stealing the item.
