Description: On May 20, 2023 at approximately 1:00 AM in the vicinity of Linden Boulevard and Brooklyn Avenue Plaintiffs Baptiste and Joseph were detained by POs Christian Perez, Martin Moraalmonte, Nicholas Cardieri, Carlos Alvarez, Francesa Lovertro, Julio Martinez, Ihab Ginem, Larry Feng, Dennis Diaz, Leonardo Deoliveiri, Derrick DeJonge, Dennis Wu, Sarah Chironno, Jefrey Aguilera, Mehmet Knabur, Fabian Modesto, Daniel McDonald, and Anthony Warner when Plaintiffs flashed their headlights. The POs blocked the vehicle with marked and unmarked police cars and commanded Plaintiffs to exit their car. The POs had their weapons unholstered and drawn at Plaintiffs. Description: On September 16 2022 the Plaintiff was lawfully walking along the street when unlawfully approached by NYPD Officers Haroonul Hassan, Dennis Diaz, Julio Martinez, and John Doe and stopped and arrested. He was transported to the 67th Precinct and placed in a cell and thereafter transferred to Central Booking until his arraignment. He spent multiple days in New York City Department of Corrections custody before he was released.

Description: On August 27, 2022, Plaintiff was lawfully walking on the street with his significant other when he was approached by officers. Upon approaching Plaintiff, the officers immediately accused Plaintiff of committing a reported robbery. Before Plaintiff could deny any of the allegations, the officers forcefully handcuffed him and illegally searched his person. The officers did not find any evidence or contraband on Plaintiff's person, but continued to arrest Plaintiff and transport him to the police station. The officers subsequently submitted false allegations claiming that Plaintiff was in possession of drugs when he was arrested.
