Description: On May 14, 2021, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Plaintiff went outside of his apartment to smoke a cigarette in front of 123 Post Avenue, County and State of New York, when the defendant Police Officers, Nicholas Canigla (shield #10226) and John Doe #s 1-10 (identities unknown) unlawfully detained and arrested Plaintiff, Shawn Estevez without legal justification. The Defendants, without probable cause or legal authority, unlawfully put handcuffs on the Mr. Estevez and place him under arrest.
