Description: On October 16, 2016, the plaintiff was on his Yamaha ATV in the Bronx near East 233rd Street and Webster Avenue when NYPD Officers Nicholas VanDyke and Matthew Vinzo intentionally struck the plaintiff with an NYPD vehicle. As a result of the collision, the plaintiff suffered severe injuries, including a broken femur bone, broken ribs, a fractured clavicle, and more. The plaintiff was admitted to a medical center for over two weeks for treatment of his injuries. The NYPD defendants also arrested the plaintiff, kept him in custody, and caused him to be charged with crimes that ultimately were dismissed in the plaintiff's favor.
