Description: On August 09, 2017, Defendant 1 (Sauri-Cruz) was unlawfully arrested by Officer Santiago. Defendant 1 was stopped by the officers, and arrested without cause, for refusing to answer questions. Defendants acted on unverified information, accusing Defendant 1 of being a shooter. On August 28, 2017, Defendant 2 (Barreto) was unlawfully arrested by Officer Santiago. Defendant 2 is a prisoner of Rikers, and was arrested without cause on unverified information, accusing Defendant 2 of being an accomplice to Defendant 1's shooting.
