Description: On April 21, 2008, Alberto Ortiz was subject to an attempted robbery by two unidentified men. NYPD Detective Brian Harrington claimed that on April 24, 2008, Ortiz told Harrington that "people in the neighborhood" identified Plaintiff "Lawrence Williams" as one of the perpetrators. Ortiz consistently denied giving Harrington the name. Harrington further claimed that he produced a computerized array of 64 pictures of people named "Lawrence Williams" and that on August 24, 2009, Ortiz picked Plaintiff's picture from that array.
