Description: On April 14th, 2019, plaintiff Kawksaki Trawick, while cooking, locked himself out of his apartment around 10:00 P.M to 12:00 A.M. Plaintiff called the Fire Department to his apartment at 1616 Grand Avenue, 4th Floor Bronx. The FDNY was able to force open Plaintiff's door. Plaintiff's door remained unlocked but closed, Police Officers arrived to a Emotionally Disturbed Person call. Plaintiff was holding a knife and long stick, the stick was used to gain access to the apartment. Plaintiff was shot with a taser and caused to suffer severe physical injuries. Plaintiff was then shot four times, ending his life.
