Complaint
Description: On August 22, 2018, Defendant Officer Sciortino and an unknown defendant officer conducted a false arrest of Plaintiff Heath Jackson at his home. The police officers did not secure Mr. Jackson's dwelling, and as a result, Mr. Jackson's property was stolen from his home. The defendant officers brought Mr. Jackson to the precinct, where he was held for two days. After being released, Mr. Jackson was forced to go to the hospital to treat an intestinal virus that he had picked up in the precinct.
