Description: On April 3, 2018, between 11:00 pm and midnight, Mr. Ragin was operating a motor vehicle on Neilson Street (close to Dinsmore Avenue). Defendant Officers (Officers Napoli and Peveraro) stopped Mr. Ragin’s vehicle, directed him out of the vehicle, and conducted a search of it – they then arrested Mr. Ragin and charged him with violation of vehicular and traffic law. Description: The plaintiff called 911 because she was being robbed. When the officers arrived they treated her with disrespect and then arrested the plaintiff with false allegations of Disorderly Conduct. The plaintiff was brought to the 101st Precinct where she was subjected to an invasive strip search in a non-private area of the precinct. The charges of Disorderly Conduct were later dismissed.
