Description: On January 5, 2020, in the vicinity of 260 Herkimer Street in Brooklyn, several NYPD officers threatened the plaintiffs who lived there to let them in, or they would use excessive for or violence. Description: On April 25, 2019, the plaintiffs were inside an apartment playing games and two of them were sleeping when the SWAT team drilled the door and used a battering ram to forcibly and illegally enter the apartment without probable cause. The defendants were unidentified police officers including PO Patrick Foley, Joseph Kosek and Luciani who held guns in the faces of all occupants. One of the plaintiffs who was sleeping in the basement was dragged out of bed. Th defendants kept inquiring about guns regarding which the plaintiffs had no clue. On of the plaintiffs was then detained and processed unlawfully.

Description: On June 23, 2018, Plaintiffs Baldwin and Murray were lawfully on the street in Brooklyn with Robert Thompson's six-year-old son. The Plaintiffs were approached by unnamed NYPD Defendant officers and placed in handcuffs. After a thorough search, the Defendants uncovered no contraband. Despite this, the Plaintiffs were arrested and taken to the local precinct. The Plaintiffs were charged with, amongst other offences, loitering, attempted tampering with evidence and the promotion of gambling. The Plaintiffs were held for approximately 24 hours before being released. The charges against the Plaintiffs were ultimately dismissed.
