Description: Plaintiff Valarezo went with Plaintiff M.V. to the hospital to see Mr. Valarezo's mother in law. While M.V. was in the hospital waiting room, two men accosted him and told him to give them his phone. Hospital security intervened, along with NYPD defendant Valdez. Mr. Valarezo took his family outside in compliance with Valdez's orders. One of the men who accosted M.V. began making threatening gestures towards them, and Mr. Valarezo complained to the police officers about the man's actions. Someone believed to be Defendant Mullen put an arm across Mr. Valarezo's chest, which he brushed off.
