Description: On August 3, 2013, Plaintiffs Rizk and Gonsalves were approached by NYPD Officers Firadaus Mehirdel and Danny Lee. After being told everything was okay, Officer Mehirdel shouted at Gonsalves to come over and produce identification. While Gonsalves was removing his identification from his wallet, Officer Mehirdel threw Gonsalves up against his personal vehicle, and was joined by Officer Lee. The Officers subsequently threw Gonsalves to the roadway. When Rizk asked the Officers to stop, Officer Mehirdel violently pushed Rizk away, then pushed her against Gonsalves' vehicle and thrusted his body onto Rizk's exposed backside while pushing her head forward.
