Description: On July 2, 2022, Plaintiff was lawfully present in the hallway of his apartment building when Defendant Police Officers approached him without justification. They began to question him, when one of the Defendants suddenly grabbed Plaintiff, pushed him backwards, and slammed the back of his head into the door frame, causing Plaintiff to begin bleeding. Plaintiff was then placed in overly-tight handcuffs and physically dragged out of the building and into an ambulance. To drag Plaintiff, Defendants grabbed him by his dreadlocks (which are religiously significant to Plaintiff), tearing some of them out in the process.
