Description: On Mar. 19, 2016, plaintiffs were in the parking lot of a Walgreens when officers, including Sergeant Timothy Gilroy and Officer John Murphy, stopped and arrested the plaintiffs. During the course of the arrest, officers pushed plaintiff Davina Thompson, causing injury to her left ankle that needed medical treatment. Officers then handcuffed them and took them to the precinct, where they were strip searched. Plaintiffs Thompson and Edmunds were released the next day without charges. Plaintiff Hill was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and she was released only after posting bail. The charges were ultimately dismissed.

Description: On June 12, 2011, at approximately 6:55pm, Plaintiff was falsely arrested by Defendants Gilroy and Huh when he had not committed a crime, did he do any act to warrant an arrest. He was falsely accused of committing robbery and resisting arrest. Plaintiff was falsely arrested, detained against his will, maliciously prosecuted, suffered severe mental anguish, emotional distress, humiliation and embarrassment. The charges were dropped on January 23, 2012.
