Description: "On April 24, 2023, Plaintiff Latisha Maldonado was playing quiet music on the street out side of the men's shelter where she provided toys for the children and fathers residing in the shelter, among them, Plaintiff John Guerra and his minor child. Defendant Officers Tony Xie and certain unidentified police officers approached Plaintiffs and instructed them to turn off the music, which Plaintiff Maldonado did without question. Defendants later returned, confiscated the speaker and violently attacked Plaintiffs while Defendant Guerra was holding his infant son. The attack was filmed by bystanders, who shouted for Defendants to stop. Defendants pushed Plaintiff Maldonado to the ground and pushed Plaintiff Guerra ...
