Description: On January 10, 2014, plaintiff was operating a motor vehicle. When he pulled over to visit a friend, he and his passenger were swarmed by police officers. After coming to a stop, a uniformed officer asked for license and registration. As plaintiff reached for the license and registration, plaintiff was abruptly pulled from his vehicle. The police began to beat the plaintiff. Plaintiff was beaten with a baton as well as fists. The police violently and tightly handcuffed the plaintiff. Plaintiff was then thrown into a van where he was further assaulted and battered. Plaintiff was physically abused and detained at the precinct.
