Description: On July 24, 2021, Ms. York attended a protest. NYPD officers surrounded the protesters on all sides and played a recording stating that protesters must disperse. NYPD Officer Jorge Garcia pushed Ms. York, who verbally expressed to Garcia that she couldn't move because she was trapped. Garcia ignored this information and continued pushing Ms. York on her shoulders and chest. At some point, an NYPD supervisor gave a command to arrest the protesters. Garcia and Officer John Doe 1 grabbed Ms. York and threw her onto the street, which caused her to fall and lose her cane. Ms. York was then handcuffed with zip-tie plastic handcuffs by Garcia while she was lying facedown on the ground. She was then picked up off the g...
