Description: On October 22, 2023, the plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue and East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx when the defendants, NYPD Officers Breheny, Riley, Doe, and Roe, approached the plaintiff without probable cause or reasonable suspicion. The officers searched and grabbed the plaintiff and transported him to a facility where he was kept incarcerated for over 24 hours. Thereafter, the plaintiff was falsely and maliciously prosecuted for allegedly committing a crime. After making several court appearances, the plaintiff ultimately had all charges against him dropped.

Description: On June 2, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Sheldon Moore was lawfully in the area of Davidson Avenue and West 174th Street in Bronx County. Absent a warrant, probable cause, or any legal justification, Defendant officers Breheny, Bowman, Doe and Roe, stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered and detained Mr. Moore in an excessive manner. Mr. Moore was arraigned after his arrest and thereafter falsely and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. Ultimately, all charges against him were terminated favorably but not before he was incarcerated for over twenty-four hours and required to make numerous court appearances.

Description: On July 6, 2018, plaintiff was in his home. His son punched him in the face and plaintiff's fiancee and her son intervened to prevent any further conflict. Plaintiff never struck his son in any way or threatened to. Multiple family members witnessed the incident. One of plaintiff's son's called the police and ten unidentified officers arrived, including Officers Goodman, Imbert, Hernandez, and Breheny. Description: On May 11, 2020, Plaintiff was lawfully at or about the premises known as 551 St. Lawrence Avenue, when he was approached, assaulted and battered by the Defendants, including POs Timothy Brehen and Bobby Baker. The assault and battery consisted of being jumped on, tackled to the ground, was assaulted by a Taser and/or other conductive energy device and then forcefully placed in handcuffs. The plaintiff was falsely arrested and taken to the 43th Precinct where he was held in a holding cell for a period of time. While at the premises, the plaintiff requested medical attention as a result of the injuries sustained by the Defendants, but was ignored.
