Description: On or about May 12, 2024, Plaintiff was legally operating his vehicle on the streets of Kings County to go home. When Plaintiff pulled up in front of his home, defendants, NYPD officers approached his car with their guns drawn. Plaintiff scared honked his car to alert his family. Plaintiff's father exited the house and then Plaintiff opened the car door and when he did the NYPD officers John and Jane Does, Dustin Diaz and Mark Whirl dragged him out of his car and physically assaulted him, causing injuries to his body and face and then arrested him. Description: On September 29, 2021, while lawfully at the intersection of 21st Street and 31st Avenue in Queens, NY, the plaintiff was illegally approached, assaulted, battered, and arrested by the defendants in an excessive manner without legal justification. The assault involved being grabbed, slammed to the ground, and forcefully handcuffed. The plaintiff was then taken to the 114th precinct, where he was further assaulted and battered by Defendants Leonard Insalaco, Joey Hoti, Christopher Tsatsaronis, and John Does, causing him to have seizures. Description: On or about December 31, 2017, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the plaintiff was walking on the sidewalk when he approached eight or more officers of the NYPD. At that point, Police Officer Insalaco aggressively pushed plaintiff into a metal security gate. Insalaco, Police Officer Kinigson and other officers then verbally abused the plaintiff, unlawfully searched his person, and placed him into handcuffs against his will. Plaintiff was transported to the precinct and charged with violation of Section 240.20 of the Penal Law (disorderly conduct).
