Description: Plaintiff 1: DIAKITE On August 22, 2014, Diakite was standing on Broadway street next to the vendor who had employed him when he was approached by Defendants and asked to show Identification. Plaintiff handed over identification and explained to Defendants that he did not speak to customers. Plaintiff has been subjected to threats of deportation and false arrests in the past and decided to take it to court. Defendants never showed for Trial. Plaintiff 2: KANE On July 6, 2013 Plaintiff was in the area of Canal street in Downtown NY, assisting vendors place their products for sale.
