Records are incomplete. The database does not include complaints for which the CCRB has not completed an investigation. Only a limited set of lawsuits and NYPD discipline records are available. Not all officers are listed. Records only include the NYPD, for other police departments see the list of other police accountability data sets at NACDL.
This database contains 471,000 allegations from 170,000 complaints from the 1970s through March 2024, along with other records of 90,600 current and former police officers.
The NYPD have an NYPD Officer Profile database, which is made available here as a set of spreadsheets. Updated March 17, 2024
