Description: On September 8, 2022, at approximately 5:00, p.m. at the Southwest corner of West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, NY, Plaintiff approached Police Officers of the Midtown South Precinct, Defendants P.O Jon E. Felz, and John and Jane Does to report having been assaulted by an unknown individual. The unknown individual was holding a sign containing what Plaintiff believed were antisemitic statements and who was verbally making what Plaintiff felt were antisemitic statements, had punched Plaintiff in the face, knocking her to the ground, and causing redness and pain to her face. Description: On November 12, 2012, PO Lai and others ordered Plaintiff to pull his vehicle over without probable cause. POs ordered him out of the vehicle and brutalized him. Plaintiff was taken in handcuffs from the scene to the hospital for treatment, then to a precinct. POs falsely informed the DA's office that they observed Plaintiff commit reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. After 24 hours in custody, Plaintiff was released. The criminal charges were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
On November 21, 2012, PO Lai issued Plaintiff a summons, falsely accusing him of littering. This charge was also adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
