Description: On or about June 23, 2023 Plaintiff was driving when PO Johan Jaime and PO John Doe approached and falsely arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff wrongfully imprisoned and subjected to a malicious prosecution. All charges were dismissed on September 26, 2023. Plaintiff suffered loss of liberty, emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and fear as a result of this incident.

Description: On or about August 25, 2023, ten Plaintiffs were lawfully present in the vicinity of East 137th Street and Alexander Avenue. Plaintiffs were improperly stopped and searched by defendant officers Tiago Gomes, Alex Durst, Estiven Mena, Shanya Gonzalez, Brian Query, Johan Jaime, Jose Rossette, Juan Martinez Cabrera, John Doe, and John Roe. Plaintiffs were forcefully seized and battered, causing permanent injury to at least one plaintiff. Plaintiffs were taken to the precinct and remained incarcerated without cause for over 24 hours. False charges were then applied to all plaintiffs. Plaintiffs allege that the improper "stop and frisk" and subsequent false arrest was motivated by the plaintiffs' race.
