Complaint
Description: On March 5, 2022, Plaintiff was lawfully in her vehicle when Defendant Police Officers, including Officer Brandon Morales, approached her without legal justification. Defendant Officers then unlawfully stopped and searched Plaintiff in retaliation for a prior incident with Plaintiff’s son. Defendant Morales then placed Plaintiff into handcuffs and under arrest without a lawful justification. Defendants then transported Plaintiff to the police precinct and then central booking. Plaintiff was let out of the back door without any charges being filed after the district attorney’s office declined to prosecute the case.
