Complaint
Description: On June 1, 2020, Plaintiff was near the intersection of 5th Avenue and 58th Street in Manhattan, when Defendants Officers, including Detective Reuther and Detective Albano, tackled Plaintiff to the ground, striking him in the head and body, forcing him from his feet to ground, and striking him with an object. After Plaintiff fell to the ground, Defendant Officers continued to strike him. Plaintiff was physically restrained by the officers, on the ground, facing downward. Plaintiff was arrested, taken to the precinct, then to Central Booking, and was eventually released, although Plaintiff was never charged with any crime.
