Description: On February 9, 2023, Plaintiff was lawfully inside his home eating lunch when Defendant Police Officers Carlos Hidalgo, Victor Reyes, and John and Jane Does #1-10, started banging on his door regarding a 911 call. Plaintiff denied knowledge of the call, closed the door, and Defendant remained banging and screaming at the door. Plaintiff re-opened the door and Defendants tackled Plaintiff to the floor and tased him. At no point did Defendants recover any illegal contraband from Plaintiff or his apartment. He was transported to the emergency room for injuries sustained from Defendants then released back to police custody. On August 16, 2023, all charges against Plaintiff were dropped.
