Description: On November 30, 2023, PO Bryan drew his NYPD-issued service weapon and shot the plaintiff, Mr. Knight, in his left wrist and chest. The wound resulted in permanent and severe physical injury. At no time prior, during or after the shooting did Mr. Knight engage in any act that would render the use of deadly physical force justifiable or reasonable.
By reason of the foregoing, plaintiff was severely injured and suffered, and will continue to suffer a lifetime of continuous physical pain and anguish in addition to emotional and psychological distress.
