Description: On November 9, 2016, Kevin Reid was wrongfully arrested by NYPD officers who falsely accused him of serious crimes, including attempted murder. The officers, acting within their official capacity, detained Reid for approximately sixteen months without probable cause. Ultimately, all charges against him were dismissed on June 20, 2018. Reid claims that the lack of legal authority for his arrest and the false accusations led to significant emotional distress, humiliation, and damage to his reputation.
