Complaint
Description: On March 11, 2013, Plaintiff was on the street when suddenly, several Defendant police officers approached Plaintiff in an aggressive manner. Plaintiff did not feel free to walk away. The Defendants did not have reasonable suspicion or other legal justification to stop Plaintiff. Shortly thereafter, the Defendant officers handcuffed Plaintiff and unlawfully arrested him. The Defendant officers conducted an unlawful frisk of Plaintiff and found no contraband. Plaintiff was still transported to the precinct, then central booking. Plaintiff was falsely charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, which charges were eventually dismissed.
