Description: On February 23, 2016, plaintiff was inside the lobby of his sister’s apartment building, at 2899 Kingsbridge Terr, Bronx, NY, picking up his mother from his sister’s apartment to bring her to plaintiff’s home in New Jersey. As plaintiff and his mother exited the building through the lobby, defendants approached, stopped, questioned, frisked, and searched plaintiff. Plaintiff was handcuffed. Defendants slammed plaintiff to the ground while handcuffed and stepped on plaintiff. While on the ground, defendants pepper sprayed plaintiff. Plaintiff was transported to the 50th Precinct. Plaintiff asked for medical attention for severe pain in his eyes and back. EMS responded and determined plaintiff’s injuries required...
