Description: On July 29, 2018, Plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, questioned, frisked, and falsely arrested by Defendant officers while lawfully present near Georgia Avenue and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn. The officers used excessive force, grabbing Plaintiff and throwing him to the ground, resulting in injuries to his shoulder and leg. Plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to the 75th Precinct before being transferred to Brooklyn Central Booking. Plaintiff was arraigned and charged with Disorderly Conduct based on false and misleading information provided by the officers to the DA’s Office.
