Plaintiff went to check on his son and upon arrival observed the child's mother, "P.A.", pulling up to the location in her vehicle. After approaching P.A. and voicing his concerns for their son’s well-being, P.A. became irate, belligerent, and struck him with her vehicle, injuring plaintiff's leg. Description: On January 31, 2019, Plaintiff was falsely arrested by officers for violating animal protection laws. Officers had previously been conducting an investigation into the treatment of a dog owned by Plaintiff. When Plaintiff had gone out of town, the officers learned that Plaintiff left the dog in the custody of another individual. This did not violate the terms of the investigation or any other laws, but officers arrested Plaintiff regardless. All charges against Plaintiff were subsequently dismissed.

Description: On or about July 6, 2016, while awaiting take out food, plaintiff was seized and arrested by NYPD officers Mero and Flores without warrant, probable cause or legal justification. During the arrest, he was treated with excessive force, causing pain and suffering. They falsely caused a criminal complaint to be filed against him, which was resolved in his favor. As a result of defendant's actions, plaintiff suffered sever and permanent injuries of a psychological nature.
