Description: On January 13, 2022, around 1:00 A.M., near 203 Hamilton Ave, Staten Island, plaintiff Jessica Marotto was illegally stopped, searched, and arrested. Plaintiff did not commit any crimes. Plaintiff was aggressively approached and placed in tight handcuffs. Plaintiff was searched in a humiliating manner, violently shoved into a police vehicle, and transported to a precinct for arrest processing. Plaintiff was placed in a disgusting cell and released from the precinct without being charged.

Description: On August 25, 2017, Plaintiff was lawfully present in a subway station when certain NYPD officers, including Timothy Cox, approached Plaintiff. The Defendant Officers assaulted Plaintiff, placed him in a chokehold, and illegally detained him. Plaintiff was then improperly placed in handcuffs and brought to Central Booking-Brooklyn, where he was incarcerated for an unreasonable amount of time. Defendants subsequently pursued criminal legal process against Plaintiff, with improper ulterior motives.
