Description: On or about October 12, 2023, at approximately 2:45 PM, during the bus route of bus 1147, within the vicinity of 6581 Hylan Boulevard., County of Richmond (Staten Island), plaintiff - a minor with autism - was subjected to assault and battery by a classmate and suffered severe personal injuries. The school bus driver failed to intervene or attempt to stop the altercation and instead drove the bus back to the school. Upon arrival at the school, plaintiff himself was subjected to an unlawful stop and search, subsequently arrested, and placed in handcuffs by police officer Edward Delrio and unidentified police officers (John and Jane Doe).
