Description: On March 24, 2023, Plaintiff was lawfully in his residence with his children when several unknown Defendant NYPD officers and Defendant NYPD officer Casado arrived. While standing behind the door, Plaintiff asked Defendants if they had a warrant. Instead of responding, the Defendants repeatedly banged on Plaintiff's door, causing the metal door to break and injure the Plaintiff. Plaintiff opened the door and told the Defendants to stop because they were hurting him. The Defendants then unlawfully searched Plaintiff. The Defendants, using excessive force, placed Plaintiff in handcuffs and under arrest. Plaintiff again asked the Defendants if they had a warrant.
