Description: On or about the summer months of 2007, PO Joel Doseau befriended Plaintiff (who was 14 years old at the time) on the online platform Skype. At the time, Doseau was a 35-year-old NYPD officer but led Plaintiff to believe he was an 18-year-old college student. Doseau groomed and sexually abused Plaintiff from 2007 to 2013. Doseau routinely ordered Plaintiff to engage in child pornography by taking videos and pictures and sending them to Doseau and by performing sexual acts on video calls. In the summer of 2008, Doseau raped Plaintiff for the first time. Doseau told Plaintiff that, because Plaintiff was intersex and was born with a prostate, it was necessary for Doseau to anally rape Plaintiff. Doseau also forced ...
