Description: On May 10, 2019, on 118 West 125th street, Plaintiff was walking and playing music, when the police arrived due to a disturbance call. PO Torres and other officers exited the vehicle and approached with loaded handguns and tackled Plaintiff. Torres then searched Plaintiff, found nothing, then proceeded to handcuff him painfully tight and arrest him. Due to the roughness of the arrest, Plaintiff was transported to Harlem Hospital for cuts and bruises to his body. Then he was processed at the 28th Precinct and held to further body searches and fingerprinting. Plaintiff was then transported to Central Booking and subjected to the same pattern of searches, and he remained in custody there for five additional days. ...
