Description: On or about June 8, 2019, the Plaintiff, a Hispanic/Latino male, had been lawfully operating his vehicle when the driver of the vehicle in front of him accused him of bumping the rear of her vehicle and demanded money to settle the purported accident claim. The Defendant officers, including P.O. Everett, P.O. Morales, and John or Jane Doe 1-10, approached the Plaintiff and the aforesaid driver, and attempted to intimidate the Plaintiff into paying the aforesaid driver. The Defendant officers unlawfully targeted the Plaintiff due to his race/ethnicity.
