Description: On August 8, 2015, Plaintiff was lawfully standing in front of 1518 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn when Defendant Officers, including Officer Kacanski, unlawfully detained and arrested Plaintiff. Defendant Officers commenced a criminal prosecution against Plaintiff without probable cause and in bad faith. After more than 14 court appearances over 2 years, Plaintiff’s charges were dismissed on July 12, 2017.
